Frida Fjellman

Frida Fjellman's faiblesse for animals is well known among those who have followed her craft over time. Big bears and small lilies. Made of glass and ceramic. With a humorous twist or with the greatest possible suffering in the eye. Always created on the basis of respect and a vibrant sensitivity to life.

Frida Fjellman is originally from Mariestad, operates in Stockholm and has been designing for Kosta Boda since 2016. Frida is highly relevant and is represented at a variety of museums and cultural institutions, with exhibitions that over the years have been awarded with numerous awards and scholarships, not only successes among many of Sweden's art institutions, but also international success - most recently at ArtBasel in both Miami and Basel.

Frida made her debut at the Blås & Knåda exhibition in 2001 - other noted projects and exhibitions include The Crystal Forest and Oväntat both part of “I Huvet på Frida Fjellman” presented at Gustavbergs and Eskiltunas Art Hall. Throughout the years Frida has received a number of awards such as Konstnärsfondens Femåriga Arbetstipendium awarded to her in 2015.
